Yellow Dextrine :
Yellow Dextrine is soluble gummy carbohydrate named by
partial hydrolysis of Starch. Yellow Dextrine or canary dextrines
as they are frequently called, are made by roasting starch
with less acid and more heat.
Special Features :
Highly convertable and very thin in solution.
Concentrated solution is very stable.
Good laciness.
Gases :
Bill posting envelopes, laminated solids fibres, paper bags,
paper boxes, paper boxes lining, paper tubes and cones, Postage
stamps, gum tapes, crayons(chalk) ceramics, cord, polishing
dyes, sand binders, insecticides leather, linoleum wall paper
in silvering compounds.
Textiles :
In cloth painting, in cloth finishing, rug sizing, screen
printing stiffening, textile stiffening and window shades.
Dry Distemper :
Used in dry distemper 2/3% of dextrine mixed with chalk and
pigments acts as a carrier and impart good adhesion and optic
colours to the wall.
Foundry :
Used in foundries as a core binder as it imparts great compression
strength to foundry cores.
Ink :
As a colour binder in ink tablets.
Grinding Wheels :
Binder for different constituents for grinding wheels.
Other Uses:
The Printing paste manufactured from fine quality and non
abrasive Yellow Dextrine ensures long life of printing copper
rolls.
